Charity Great Wall of China Challenge
In October 2009, Stuart Fusco teamed up with Arnold Locker of Lockers Fish
of Whitby, suppliers of fresh fish to Quayside and Royal Fisheries, and also his
youngest son, skipper James Locker, along with other fishermen from Scotland, to
walk the Great Wall of China.
The group aimed to raise as much money as possible for the Royal National Mission
to Deep Sea Fishermen. The walk took in approximately 100 kilometres of the
Great Wall and was very gruelling in parts as it was very steep in some sections,
but also a great experience.
Many customers and businesses pledged their support to Stuart and the
rest of the team by making donations or promises.
